Member for Wilton, as representing the Food Controller, whether, having regard to the fact that in the last twelve months the price of feeding stuffs has increased by nearly 100 per cent., and also that the Palm Kernels Trust and other companies interested in the importation and preparation of feeding stuffs have made increased profits in the same period, he will at once proceed to arrange for a plentiful supply of palm kernel, cotton, and linseed cake, at greatly reduced prices, to the farmers?
Captain BATHURSTThe Food Controller already has the question of feeding stuffs under his personal consideration. I am not, at the moment, able to make any statement as to the steps which he will take.
