§ Mr. FORSTERThe date from which an officer's sick leave begins is the date on which the medical board is held if it was held before the officer embarked for the United Kingdom from abroad; if the board was not held before the date of embarkation the officer's sick leave runs from the 1038 date of embarkation. The board is, where possible, held while the officer is in hospital overseas. If this is not possible it is held as soon as possible after arrival in the United Kingdom.
