HC Deb 08 August 1916 vol 85 cc843-4
19. Colonel YATE

asked the Secretary of State for War whether the recent Army Order limiting the issue of Army Forms O. 1,799 and O. 1,800 has now been reconsidered; and whether arrangements have been made with the Railway Executive Committee to enable officers in uniform to travel first-class and third-class fare?

Mr. FORSTER

I informed my hon. and gallant Friend on the 18th July that I would acquaint him of the results of the further consideration of this question, which was in progress. Although I am glad to say considerable progress has been made in the matter it is not possible to make any definite statement to-day.
