Major HUNTasked the President of the Board of Trade whether the authorised capital of the Astra Romana Company is 60,000,000 lei, of which 37,600,000 lei is held by the Consolidated Company, which in turn is controlled by the Bataaf-sche Company, of which last-mentioned company the Shell Trading and Transport Company is the owner of 40 per cent, of the capital and, in addition, whether the Shell Trading and Transport Company holds 2,740,000 lei, making with the 37,600,000 lei about 67 per cent, of the capital of the Astra Romana Company; and whether he will ascertain the exact date on which Mr. Deterding resigned his directorship of the Astra Romana Company during the War?
Mr. HARCOURTI cannot add to the information given in reply to the previous questions of the hon. and gallant Member, but if he attaches importance to the date of Mr. Deterding's resignation I will endeavour to obtain it for him.
