Mr. SAMUELI have received a communication sent in the name of the Rabbis of Jewish communities in London, which bears however only one signature, and I am not aware that it has any representative character. If an authoritative re- 304 quest to receive a deputation were made on behalf of the Jewish clergy generally, I should, of course, accede to it.
