Mr. RUNCIMANThe position as regards the withdrawal of week-end fares has not been modified since the reply given to my hon. Friend's question of 30th June on the subject. There is, however, nothing to prevent railway companies from running additional trains at ordinary fares when no interference with military or naval traffic is involved.
