HC Deb 22 September 1915 vol 74 c444
25. Sir E. CORNWALL

asked the Minister of Munitions whether he is aware of the disparity in the prices offered for the supply of precisely the same material, the difference in some cases being 50 percent, and in others a good deal more; and whether this practice of differential prices for the same article is still followed or whether old contracts are being worked off?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MUNITIONS DEPARTMENT (Dr. Addison)

My right hon. Friend is aware that different prices have sometimes to be paid for the same material. It is not possible in all cases to avoid this disparity.
