§ Mr. McKENNAThe price of granulated sugar in bond on the 31st July, 1914, was in London 14s. 6d. to 14s. 10½d. per cwt., and in New York 3.30 to 3.40 cents per pound. The quotations in London were, however, very nominal at that date. The corresponding prices on the 14th October, 1915, were 22s. 1½d. per cwt. and 3.75 to 3.80 cents per pound respectively.
