Grey)All the information on this subject in the possession of His Majesty's Government was contained in the statement made by the Marquess of Crewe, in reply to a question put by the Earl of Cromer on the 6th of October. I can only refer the hon. Member to that statement. It goes further than is usual in reply to a question in this House, and I therefore do not propose to read it to the House. There can be but one feeling of horror and indignation about what has been done.
