REESasked the Under-Secretary for India whether recent disturbances at Nayyatankarei and Parrasala, in Travancore, were due to the action of the Durbar in forcing the pace in the way of obliterating or weakening caste divisions and distinctions in the State; and, if so, whether any advice to this effect, whether or not authorised or approved by the Local Government, was given to the Durbar?
