asked the Under-Secretary of State for War what firm has been appointed to succeed Messrs. Lyons and Company as contractors for catering for the troops stationed at the White City camp; how much per head was paid to Messrs. Lyons for the catering; and how much to their successors?

Messrs. William and R. S. Kerr, of Glasgow, succeeded Messrs. Lyons and Company as contractors for catering for the troops stationed at the White City Camp. The rate paid for the catering was in both cases 1s. 9d. per head.
