Partington, Moorside, Swinton, Manchester, manufacturers and dyers, a firm engaged on Government contracts, have declined to pay their operative dyers the War bonus of 3s. per week which nearly every firm of dyers in the country are paying, and will not even acknowledge communications addressed to them on the subject by the trade union concerned, and that a strike has occurred in consequence; and what action he proposes to take in the matter?
Mr. BAKERI have no knowledge of the facts stated in the question. I may add that the firm does not at present hold any War Office contract.
