§ 32. Mr. TICKLER
asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if co-operative societies 1629 throughout the country are supplying large quantities of goods to canteens and to non-members of their societies; and if he will require them to be assessed for the purposes of Income Tax, and so relieve the general traders from this unfair competition?
§ The CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER (Mr. Lloyd George)
I would refer the hon. Member to the replies which I gave to the hon. and learned Member for Warwick and Leamington on the 24th November last.
