§ Lord ROBERT CECILasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has received any proposal from Switzerland that wounded prisoners of war should be interned there, and, if so, what view the Government take of the proposal?
Mr. PRIMROSENo such proposal has been male to His Majesty's Government. It is understood that negotiations are proceeding for an arrangement between the French and German Governments of the character described by the Noble Lord, and the question of proposing a similar arrangement between this country and Germany is under the consideration of His Majesty's Government.
