§ 9. Mr. WILLIAN YOUNGasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of existing conditions in Mexico, he has made representations to the Government of the United States of America in order that immediate and effective steps may be taken to ensure the safety and lives of foreign residents in the country and, more especially, of British subjects in Mexico City, who are exposed to danger; and, if no steps have been taken, will he state what action he proposes to take in regard to the matter?
Mr. PRIMROSEI have taken, and shall continue to take, when necessary, all possible steps in the way of requesting the good offices of the United States Government with a view to ensuring the safety of British subjects in Mexico City and throughout the country.
