§ The SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. McKenna)The lease has not yet been terminated. Legal questions of much difficulty are involved, and the rights of British subjects who hold charges on the property would be affected. As I stated in reply to a question last Monday, the island is now in the occupation of the military authorities.
