§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of EDUCATION (Mr. Herbert Lewis)Part I. (Educational Statistics for 1912–13) was issued in December last Part II. (Financial Statistics for 1912–13–14) is now with the printers. This follows the usual order of publication. Part II. relates mainly to the financial year 1912–13, but some figures for 1913–14 are included. Part II. cannot be completed until the audited accounts of local education authorities have been received. Some advance financial figures for 1913–14 were published in January last [Cd. 7764], and some educational figures are given in Appendix VIII. of the Board's Report [Cd. 7934]. But in view of the depiction of the staffs of the Board and of local education authorities I can give no undertaking as to the dates of issue of statistics.
