HC Deb 28 June 1915 vol 72 c1450
30. Mr. SNOWDEN

asked the Minister of Munitions if he will give the names of the firms who, according to his statement, have been guilty of withholding supplies of necessary materials in order to force up prices?

The MINISTER of MUNITIONS (Mr. Lloyd George)

I do not consider that it would be in the public interest to mention the names of particular firms at present.

Mr. SNOWDEN

Are we to understand, from the terms of that reply, that it may be considered in the public interest to divulge the names of these people later on?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

That depends on them, I think.
