Mr. TICKLERasked the Postmaster-General whether he will state the number of the staff employed at the Grimsby office from midnight to five a.m. who are competent to deal with telegraph and telephone circuits; whether in fixing this number due regard has been given to the possibility of an attack by enemy aircraft or whether the staff is based on the normal requirements of the Grimsby office; and whether, in the circumstances, he will order an inquiry to be made into the staffing of all important centres for the distribution of news and instructions connected with approaching aircraft?
