§ Mr. FELLIs it not the case that these changes, when they take place, are for the purpose of deceiving the British public, and cannot more prompt steps be taken?
§ Sir J. SIMONI do not think it is true in all cases that people changed their names to deceive the British public. There is a law strictly enforced that no alien enemy can change his name during the War.
