HC Deb 10 June 1915 vol 72 c372
68. Mr. C. DUNCAN

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether an advance of wages has recently been conceded to the clerks employed at the Small Arms Factory at Enfield Lock; if so, why the claims for the same consideration made by the writers has been overlooked; and whether he will inquire into the matter with as little delay as possible, with a view to rectify this grievance?

Mr. FORSTER

No advance has as yet been given to any person employed on clerical duty in the superintendent's office at Enfield, but the claim of the writers is under consideration.
