Sir GILBERT PARKERI beg to ask the Prime Minister a question, of which I have given private notice: Whether in the case of the destruction of private property caused by the attacks of aircraft, such as occurred last Friday night in the Thames district, it is proposed to grant compensation to the individuals owning the property from public sources?
§ Mr. FERENSI desire to ask a question, of which I have given private notice: Whether the Government will have the damage caused by the Zeppelin raid on the East Coast on Sunday investigated with a view to compensation being granted to the sufferers?
§ Sir A. MARKHAMI desire to ask the Prime Minister whether he is aware that the insurance companies who are taking this risk definitely state that if the Government pay the claim, although they have received the premium, they will pay no claim to the persons insured?

§ The PRIME MINISTERRelief will be granted in these as in previous cases. The Government are also considering the possibility of the initiation of a scheme of insurance of property against war risks.
