§ 29. Mr. WARDLEasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether any reconsideration has been given to the case of wives of soldiers who have been brought home from India and are resident in London, but are not receiving the special London allowance; and whether, in view of the fact that the case of these women is entirely different to that of those who resided in the United Kingdom and subsequently removed from the provinces to London, he will grant the special London allowance?
§ Mr. FORSTERThe question has been reconsidered, but I regret I can see no reason to alter the decision previously given.
