EDWARDSasked the President of the Board of Education what steps he proposes to take to supervise the hours of labour, the remuneration, and the conditions of labour where children of school age are employed in any capacity; and whether, in such action as he contemplates, he will arrange that inspectors of schools shall visit the places of employment and report to his Department the conditions amid which children are employed?
