§ Mr. McKENNAThe gross income brought under review for Income Tax purposes for the year 1914– 15 is estimated to have been approximately £1,206,000,000. The corresponding figure for 1913–14 is £1,167,184,229, being about £55,000,000 in excess of the figure for 1912–13. If the hon. Member will refer to page 100 of the last published Report of the Commissioners of Inland Revenue he will find full particulars for 1912–13 and the nine preceding years.
