§ 12. Mr. R. MCNEILLasked the Under-Secretary of State for War if he will take 813 steps to provide that privates who have been on active service since the beginning of the War, or for a long period, and who, on account of sickness or otherwise, have been sent to the base, shall be given opportunities to return home on leave from the base for such periods as the exigencies of the Service may permit?
