HC Deb 05 July 1915 vol 73 c30
53. Mr. MOLTENO

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the fact that the question of the receipt of salaries by Members of Parliament for military duties as well as for attendance at the House of Commons was brought up at a late hour on the Third Reading of the Consolidated Fund (No. 2) Bill in March in a very small House, that only one private Member (the Member for North-East Cork) spoke, and the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster replied, he will give a more convenient opportunity for the discussion of this question?

The PRIME MINISTER

I am not aware that there is any general desire for this discussion.
