§ Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe whole question of the treatment of enemy aliens in India is receiving very careful consideration. I have already described, in answer to questions in this House, the general nature of the steps which have already been taken. I am now awaiting a report from India, and I can make no further announcement till it has been received.
