§ Mr. TENNANTThe history of the solitary case of small-pox which has occurred between the dates mentioned in the question is as follows: The soldier referred to who was vaccinated in infancy enlisted on the 10th August last, went into hospital on the 13th August, and was removed to an infection hospital on the following day. Had he not been taken ill so quickly after enlistment, he would have been revaccinated.
