HC Deb 22 February 1915 vol 70 cc19-20
42. Mr. NEEDHAM

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has given consideration to the present rates of exchange between London and New York; and whether any steps are being taken to improve them?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

In accordance with the statement communicated to the Press on 16th January last—a copy of which I am sending to my hon. Friend—the exchange between London and New York is being carefully watched.
