§ 12. Mr. ROWLANDS
asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury when the agreement for giving the staff of the Public Trustee's Department a permanent and pensionable status will become operative?

§ Mr. ACLAND
The agreement referred to by my hon. Friend will become operative as soon as Civil Service certificates are issued in favour of the members of the Public Trustee's staff.

§ Mr. ROWLANDS
How many have applied for these?

§ Mr. ACLAND
I do not think it is a question of individual applications, but a question as to what the Department applies, on behalf of the staff, to be taken over.
