§ Mr. BOLANDI beg to ask the First Lord of the Admiralty a question, of which I have given private notice, namely Whether representations have been made to the Admiralty that the arrangements for the spiritual welfare of Catholics Serving in the Fleet are inadequate, and what steps it is proposed to take to remedy this state of things?
§ Dr. MACNAMARAYes, Sir. The question has been engaging the serious attention of the Admiralty, and my right hon. Friend hopes shortly to be in a position to propose a conference on the subject with the Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster and the Bishop of Waterford.
