asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture what steps are being taken to promote the appointment of county committees with the object of providing adult labour for agriculture and of preventing injurious employment of cheap child labour?

The Board have asked the Central Chamber of Agriculture and the National Farmers' Union to set up county committees of farmers to co-operate with the Labour Exchanges in connection with the provision of adult labour for agriculture.
