HC Deb 09 February 1915 vol 69 cc385-6
12. Mr. DUNCAN MILLAR

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will issue a White Paper setting forth the scale of pensions, separation, and other allowances fixed by the Governments of the Dominion of Canada, the Commonwealth of Australia, New Zenland, South Africa, and other Colonial Dependencies in the case of men serving with the Colonial contingents?

Mr. HARCOURT

Yes, Sir. I hope in the course of a few days to lay Papers giving this information with regard to the oversea contingents, so far as scales have been approved by or definitely submitted to the different Legislatures.

Colonel YATE

Will the right hon. Gentleman append to it the scale given by foreign belligerents?

Mr. HARCOURT

I do not know that I am specially in a position to give that, but there might be some of my colleagues who would be able to do so.
