§ The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for INDIA (Mr. Charles Roberts)In some cases Grants-in-Aid hitherto given to German missionaries engaged in educational work in India have been continued. The question of withdrawing or continuing a Grant is, it is understood, in each case decided after careful inquiry by the local Government into the conduct and attitude of the missionaries and the character of the educational work. As to the latter part of the question, I have no information.
