§ 76. Sir WILLIAM BULLasked why an officer recalled from leave and immediately granted leave again is called upon to pay his single fare twice, as was recently done at Christmas time?
Mr. BAKEROfficers are not entitled under the Regulations to travelling expenses incurred by them in consequence of leave. Any special case not covered by the Regulations is considered on its merits. I am not aware of the circumstances of the case referred to by the hon. Member, but if he will furnish me with the necessary particulars I will have inquiry made.
