Mr. RADFORDasked whether, in view of the fact that the Government has made urgent appeals to employers to let their men join the Army and keep their places open for them, and in view of Lord Kitchener's appeal to the heads of Government Departments to let their men go, the Government is now willing to give permission to join the Army to those men in the Valuation Department of the Inland Revenue who have previously applied for permission but been refused?
