§ Dr MACNAMARAThe works have been inspected and it is not considered that they could advantageously be utilised so far as the Admiralty are concerned. I will communicate with the Committee referred to.
§ 33. Mr. EDGAR JONESasked whether the Report of the inspection of Cyfarthfa Works, Merthyr Tydvil, will be submitted to the Committee on War Munitions?
Mr. BAKERI am informed that these works have been inspected by the Admiralty, but have not been found suitable. The War Office does not propose to take any action at present, but the matter will be further considered if necessary.
