HC Deb 21 April 1915 vol 71 c260
45. Mr. HOGGE

asked the Prime Minister if he can say how many different posts are now being filled by Sir George Gibb, Sir Francis Hopwood, and Sir George Ask with, respectively; how long they have held any one post at a time; and their present positions?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

Sir Francis Hopwood was appointed Additional Civil Lord of the Admiralty in 1911, Sir George Askwith Chief Industrial Commissioner in 1911, Sir George Gibb, Chairman of the Road Board in 1910. They all retain these appointments; but the services of Sir George Gibb have been lent to the War Office as Adviser on Contracts for the period of the War.

Mr. HOGGE

Do I understand that the other two gentlemen are still supposed to be doing the other work only?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

Yes.
