Mr. GEORGE ROBERTSasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office if his attention had been directed to the scale of wages paid to the transport conductors employed at the Army Supply Stores, Northampton; and if he will make inquiry thereinto, with a view to determining whether, having regard to the hours worked by these men, to the general rise in the cost of living, and to the fact that other classes of like labour have been granted increased wages, these men should be placed on a higher scale?
