Mr. McKINNON WOODNo provision is made from rates or Imperial funds for the financing of day nurseries in Scotland. There are many such nurseries; but they are supported by voluntary funds. One of the medical inspectors of the Local Government Board for Scotland has been making inquiry into what the municipalities are doing for child welfare in the large cities.
