HC Deb 15 April 1915 vol 71 c37
Mr. WILLIAM O'BRIEN

I beg to ask the Prime Minister a question of which I have given him private notice, namely: Whether in view of the serious state of things that has arisen in Ireland the Government are taking any practical steps to bring about a better understanding among Irishmen of differing parties and sections?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Asquith)

I have not had notice of the question. I should like to have notice of it.

Mr. W. O'BRIEN

I gave private notice to the right hon. Gentleman to that effect.

The PRIME MINISTER

I have not received it. Perhaps the hon. Gentleman will repeat the question.
