§ Mr. HOAREasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether arrangements will in all cases be made for Territorials who are ordered on foreign service to have a few hours leave for saying goodbye to their families?
§ Mr. TENNANTThe desirability of giving the leave suggested is thoroughly appreciated, and every effort will be made to make the necessary arrangements. The hon. Member will, however, understand that circumstances may arise to render the carrying out of this indulgence impossible.
§ Mr. HOAREIs the right hon. Gentleman aware that some Territorials are under the impression, right or wrong, that they will be denied this privilege?
§ Mr. TENNANTI hope by the answer which I have given, with the assistance of the hon. Gentleman, we may be able to dispel any such delusion.
