HC Deb 15 September 1914 vol 66 c868
30. Lord ROBERT CECIL

asked the Prime Minister what steps the Government are taking or propose to take with regard to life insurance on soldiers and sailors?

Mr. TENNANT

I have been in communication with the chairman of the Life Offices Association this morning and have laid certain proposals before him. These proposals will be considered at a meeting of the association to be held on Thursday. Until the result of that meeting is known it is not possible to make a further statement.
