Major HOPEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consider the practicability of applyling profits of businesses and dividends earned in this country and which are due to enemies to the immediate liquidation of debts due to British traders and business firms by enemy debtors, and thereby relieve British traders and business firms from the loss of floating capital incurred by the present non-payment of sums due to them by Germans and Austrians?
