§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEProvided that the affairs of the bank are placed in the hands of the official receiver the Bank of England will be prepared at once to make an advance sufficient to enable a payment of 5s. in the £ to be made to the depositors, and to consider the making of further advances as the liquidation proceeds.
