§ Mr. MORISONI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for War whether any, and, if so, what steps have been taken to enable small traders and manufacturers to tender for War Office contracts or to obtain in other ways War Office orders?
Mr. BAKERThe War Office has received many thousands of applications for orders from manufacturers and others in all parts of the Kingdom. As occasion arises a communication is sent to all those whose services might possibly be utilised for the particular requirement in view.
