§ Lord ROBERT CECILasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Government have come to any decision with regard to life insurances on soldiers and sailors?
§ Mr. TENNANTThere are still some open points in connection with this matter, but I am glad to be able to announce that the Life Offices Association has now decided to recommend to life assurance companies that no members of the Territorial Force who were insured prior to the outbreak of War should be required to pay any additional premiums as a result of their proceeding on active service abroad. I think the House will be gratified to learn of this action of the association.

§ Mr. TENNANTThat is still under consideration. I cannot give an answer just now.
