HC Deb 27 November 1914 vol 68 cc1489-90
6. Mr. ROWLANDS

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether the widows and children of officers of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who lose their lives on active service are entitled to gratuities and a life pension; and, if so, whether it is similar to that of officers of the Royal Navy?

Dr. MACNAMARA

The widows and children of officers of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who lose their lives on active service are entitled to pensions, allowances and gratuities on the same scale and subject to the same conditions as those applicable to the widows and children of officers of corresponding rank in the Royal Navy.
