§ Dr. MACNAMARAAn Admiralty order was issued on 16th November authorising the payment of active service pay and allowances to pensioner signalmen employed in the Naval Port Signal Stations during the period of hostilities, in lieu of the civilian wages which they have received in time of peace. This decision will have effect as from 2nd August.
